When you sign in with Google, Apple, or email, we store your name, email address, and profile photo (if available) to identify you in the app. If you sign in with email, we also store a securely hashed password managed by Firebase Authentication. This information is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore.
Your profile information is displayed so others can find you and follow your muses. The muses you share — a song today, with places and film & TV planned — are visible to the people who follow you and to the people you follow. We send you a gentle reminder every few days to share a fresh muse; you can turn these notifications off at any time.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not track your activity outside the app. We do not use your data for advertising.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Cloud Storage, which provide encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication, some app features run on Firebase Cloud Functions, and reminders are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
You can delete your account at any time from the app's profile menu. This permanently removes your profile, room, muses, and favorites from our servers.
amuse-bouche uses Firebase (by Google) for authentication, data storage, cloud functions, and notifications, and Apple MusicKit for song search and playback. These services have their own privacy policies.
